Is there a name for the void into which the universe is expanding?

Is there a name for the void into which the universe is expanding?

  1. There is no void. The Universe contains all space. It’s just that the space is stretching.

Your question is like asking “where does the extra rubber come from when I blow up a balloon?” There is no more rubber, it’s just stretched thinner.

Since there is no void, there is no need for a name.
