How do clouds stay up in the sky

How do clouds stay up in the sky

  1. Clouds in the Earth’s atmosphere are made of tiny water droplets or ice crystals which are so small and light that they can float in the air. So clouds are floating in the air just as a hot air balloon floats in the air or a ship floats in water.

Sometimes the conditions are such that water droplets form close to the Earth’s surface and we get mist or fog. Then the clouds are not up in the sky!
