  1. We don’t ‘make’ electricity, because every atom of everything is already filled with electricity. We separate electrons from a ‘parent’ atom, make then move down wires, and rejoin another atom.

    We can achieve this separation of charges from an atom by friction (‘static’), by chemistry (batteries and fuel cells) or by magnetic forces (dynamos).
