How does the rain get into the clouds?

How does the rain get into the clouds?

  1. Hi Kayla.

A kettle is used to heat water. Once a kettle is boiled you can see the steam coming from the kettle spout and you can see this steam rising. This steam is also water, but in vapour format (ice is water in solid format). Well the sun heats up the sea and the heated water from the sea rises like steam into the air, forming clouds (so clouds are made of water in vapour form). Once this cloud reaches colder air, the water in it cools back into liquid water and falls as rain. To complete the story, the rain forms rivers which flow back into the sea. Hope this helps
