Where was the primordial soup bowl?

Did the original living animal that we (homo sapiens) evolved from crawl out of just the one primordial soup bowl – if so, where was it? Or were there many such bowls in diverse locations on the planet from which we could have evolved from simultaneously?
Carol Humphreys from Bedfordshire (age 45-54)

  1. The term primordial soup bowl is really a metaphor referring to the planet’s state at the time. The idea of a soup bowl containing all the ingredients required for life to originate. There were no actual ‘bowls’, the bowl was the planet itself.

Have a look at http://www.consumer-logic.co.uk – It has a new theory explaining the begininng of life was most probably in the vicinity of volcanic activity. There was alot about 3-4bn years ago.
