    If we could see the air we would not be able to see anything else because the air is a gas all around us. We can sometimes see other things in the air such as water vapour but when that happens we can’t see very far. We call it mist or fog. Sometimes there are particles we can see in the air such as dust, soot, sand and soil but they are not part of the gas we call air.

    We can see the effects of air such as when it moves which we call the wind.
