    Our Sun is only half way through it’s life-span span so I am glad to be able to tell you that our Sun will not explode for many, many, many years to come! Scientists are really very sure that life as we know it will not be troubled by this, the nearest star to our planet, for about a thousand million (or one billion) years to come. A strong balance exists in the forces in the activity of the Sun to make this a very reliable prediction. So do not worry. We must, however, be very careful with the wonderful things we have in our world. Take care not to waste food and materials, electricity and heating and so on. But enjoy every day as much as possible and put all your energy into helping to make someone happy whenever you can.
