    Freckles are clusters of concentrated melanin which are visible on people with a fair complexion. They are an inherited characteristic, meaning

    Freckles are often found in people with fair hair such as blonde, or more commonly red hair. The formation of freckles is triggered by exposure to sunlight. The exposure to UV-B radiation activates melanocytes to increase the melanin production, which causes freckles to become darker and more numerous.

  2. im half english white and half asian. im quite dark and have an almost spanish complexion. noone else in my family has freckles so why is that i do?

    i also dont spend time in the sun
