  1. Hi Kevin :).
The Equatorial Radius of our planet is quoted as 6371.8 km.
The Polar Radius of our planet is quoted as 6356.8 km.
The highest point on the surface is Mount Everest at 8,848 m. above
    ‘local sea level’.
The lowest point is in the Mariana Trench at 10,911 m below
    ‘local sea level’.
Because of the bulge in the diameter, around the equator, the feature furthest from the centre of the Earth is actually Mount Chimborazo in Equador.
Earth is the largest of the four solar ‘terrestrial’ (rocky) planets, both in terms of size and mass. – That is in comparison to the other ‘inner planets’, Mercury, Venus and, the furthest orbiting inner planet of the group, Mars.
The thickness of crust varies, averaging 6 km. under the oceans and 30 – 50 km. on the continents.
I hope that this selection of the ‘vital statistics’ of our planet answers your question.
    Good Luck,
    Rockno3.
